n.christensen_over asked:
…on their last day together as they wee heading off to college the next year.
They came across a little brook covered in flowers. One sat down and picked off a flower and smelt it.
“Wow,” he said. “These flowers smell great. What are they?”
His mate told him they were clover flowers and then suggested they have a go at fishing coz he had seen the odd trout swimming past.
After a few hours, they each had a wheelbarrow filled with trout and they headed off again out of the forest.
They promised each other that 10 years later they would come back to the forest and go fishing one more time together.
-=10 Years Later=-
The two friends meet each other when they agreed to and headed off into the forest. At the first brook they came to, the first guy says “That’s it, that’s the brook we were at before. I recognize the clover.”
The second guy hits his mate on the back of his head and said
“Don’t be silly! You can’t tell a brook by its clover.”
